Administrative Assistant II - Human Resources
Mid-Columbia Medical Center is seeking a qualified Administrative Assistant II to join the Human Resources team.





This position is Full-Time (Monday through Friday) and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.



The Administrative Assistant II serves as a support person for the for the Human Resources department. This role provides a wide variety of data entry and administrative tasks that require initiative and independent judgment. This position manages high volumes of phone calls and email requests. Additionally, this role provides a wide variety of routine and non-routine administrative and staff support functions, compiles data, prepares reports/recommendations, and ensures that internal and external customers are well-served.



Education:

+ High School Graduate or Equivalent. Two years college level coursework is preferred.









Experience:

+ Two plus years experience in an administrative support role requiring discretion, judgment and performance of a wide range of secretarial/administrative support functions is required

+ Human resources and/or healthcare experience is preferred









Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:



+ Demonstrated sixty words per minute keyboarding skill with a high level of accuracy, advanced word processing skills, budget skills and the ability to organize and work independently


+ Must have an exceptional level of attention to detail and be able to multi-task with strong data keying abilities


+ Working knowledge of and ability to learn to create presentations (charts, graphs of data, etc) using computer software programs (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, etc)


+ Ability to create reports, forms, and correspondence


+ Ability to compose specialized or sensitive correspondence and reports; Ability to edit documents for grammar, punctuation, etc.


+ Effective positive human relations skills including tact, diplomacy, and ability to work with all levels of staff and leadership
