_Job Summary_



Intern will benefit from on-the-job training and mentoring (along with participation in team projects, social events, and professional development).
Snyder's-Lance Interns will have the opportunity to build professional relationships and enhance their interpersonal skills.





_Essential Job Duties_




+ An Intern should expect to contribute individually and as part of a team.

+ Will support a designated functional area and work towards goals and objectives assigned by the manager.

+ Interns will also interact with and support business partners and participate in projects that directly impact business value.

+ The internship will require basic skills with moderate level of proficiency.

+ Interns will generally perform single-function tasks that tend to be of small to moderate size and scope.

+ They will work under close supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment and will consult with senior peers on non-complex projects to learn through experience.

+ Accuracy and attention to details is critical.

+ A strong emphasis on analytical skills, organizational skills and written/verbal communication skills.

+ Intermediate skills in Word and Excel are important.

+ Strong documentation skills.

_Education and Experience_




+ Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelor's Degree program in one of the following engineering disciplines: Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, and Packaging or Packaging Technology.

+ Candidates must have an undergraduate/graduate GPA of at least a 2.75.

+ Individuals considered for internships are a minimum of 18 years of age and have the right to work in the United States.

Travel requirements vary. However, you must have a reliable means of transportation to get to and from work.
