What you will do!

As an Enterprise Platform Architect, you will provide expert consultation to management, professional IT staff and other jurisdictions. You will work in a role that will conduct comprehensive analysis, planning, development, implementation and coordination for the operations, maintenance, installation and construction of information systems.

This is a full-time, permanent position that is classified and represented by a union.

This position will be located in Salem at 3990 Fairview Industrial Drive SE.

Qualifications, Required & Requested Skills




MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


(a) Seven (7) years of information systems experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and in administering on premise web presence and collaboration tools.



OR



(b) An Associate's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND 5 years of information systems experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and in administering on premise web presence and collaboration tools.



OR



(c) A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field AND three (3) years of information systems experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and in administering on premise web presence and collaboration tools.



OR



(d) Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field AND one (1) year of information systems experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and in administering on premise web presence and collaboration tools.

REQUESTED SKILLS:



+ Experience in current SharePoint platform and production operations at the expert level

+ Demonstrated experience in administering and supporting SAAS and PAAS cloud solutions

+ Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

+ Working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture (EA) frameworks

+ Experience with web-based collaboration systems at the expert level

+ Project Management experience with knowledge of systems development methodologies

+ Experience using automation tools that support a variety of data management environments

+ Current industry experience related to Systems Architecture

+ Ability to administer and manage comprehensive, multi-system projects

+ Ability to direct and motivate internal staff, contractors and other project participants

+ Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

+ Experience in promoting a culturally competent and diverse work environment

+ Demonstrated ability to identify the scope and complexity of a work effort and assign resources appropriately
