The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department is currently recruiting for a Park Manager 3 position, located at Silver Falls State Park near Sublimity, Oregon.



+ This position is permanent, full-time.

+ This is a Management Service position that exercises supervisory authority over assigned staff.

+ This recruitment will be used to establish a list of qualified applicants and may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur.

What you will do:

The Park Manager 3 is responsible to manage the full range of park operational work, including long and short-range planning; supervision of paid and volunteer staff through a subordinate manager; and resource conservation, maintenance and visitor services activities, of one of the larger and more complex state park management units in OPRD.

Minimum Qualifications:




+ A Bachelor's degree in Park and Recreation Administration, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Studies or a related field and 3 years of experience as a Park Manager or equivalent natural resource manager;


- OR -



+ Six years of progressively responsible experience as a Park Manager or equivalent natural resource manager.
